The roots of Paradis Latin trace back to 1802 when Napoleon Bonaparte authorized the construction of the Théâtre Latin. Built on the site of the College Cardinal Lemoine, the venue was initially designed as a theater, beginning its long-standing legacy in the entertainment world.

The venue's first incarnation was destroyed in 1870 during the Franco-Prussian War, leaving only ruins behind. This marked the beginning of a new chapter for Paradis Latin, as the city rebuilt itself after the devastation.

In 1887, the French architect Gustave Eiffel, who would later design the Eiffel Tower, was commissioned to rebuild the theater. His design incorporated innovative metalwork, giving the new Paradis Latin a modern, industrial feel.

After two years of reconstruction, Paradis Latin reopened on January 20, 1889. With its new look, the venue quickly gained fame for its refined performances, attracting elite Parisians and tourists alike. It became a shining example of the city’s cabaret culture.

By the early 20th century, the center of Paris's cabaret culture shifted to Montmartre, and Paradis Latin’s popularity began to fade. By the 1930s, the venue closed its doors, marking a period of uncertainty in its history.

In 1973, Paradis Latin was purchased by Jean Kreigel, who sought to restore the venue to its former glory. Renovations revealed much of the original iron structure and ornate decorations, bringing the grand theater back to life.

On November 14, 1977, Paradis Latin reopened under its new management, launching the show "Paris Paradis." The spectacular performance captivated a new generation, rekindling interest in the cabaret and re-establishing Paradis Latin as a top-tier entertainment venue.

The 1980s brought renewed vitality to Paradis Latin with the introduction of new performances like "Champagne" and "Hello Paradis." These productions helped to attract a diverse audience, keeping the venue at the forefront of Parisian nightlife.

This awe-inspiring vision is the brainchild of celebrated choreographer Kamel Ouali. Renowned for his dynamic and immersive productions, Ouali brings a unique blend of glamour and contemporary flair to Paradis Latin. His direction infuses the performances with a fresh energy, balancing the timeless charm of Parisian revues with modern aesthetics. Beyond dance, the shows feature burlesque acts, comedic interludes, and acrobatics, creating a multifaceted experience that keeps the audience engaged from start to finish.

Central to Paradis Latin's productions is its ensemble of around 35 exceptionally talented dancers. These performers are carefully selected for their versatility and skill, with expertise in ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance techniques. Their movements and expressions are integral to storytelling, as they bring characters to life and convey narratives that captivate the audience.

Miss France and Miss Universe 2016, Iris Mittenaere, brought glamour and grace to L’Oiseau Paradis. Her presence elevated the show and wowed audiences.

Renowned choreographer Kamel Ouali, famous for Le Roi Soleil and Les Dix Commandements, masterfully directed L’Oiseau Paradis, blending elegance and bold innovation.

Set designer Alain Lagarde created stunning visuals for the show, transporting audiences with breathtaking stage designs drawn from his opera and musical expertise.

Three-star Michelin chef Guy Savoy crafted a gourmet menu to complement the performance, offering guests a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
